Author Guidelines

1. General Information

ICFAEMH 2026 welcomes submissions of original research articles, systematic reviews, scoping reviews, critical reviews, and case studies that align with the conference themes. All manuscripts will undergo a rigorous peer-review process and accepted papers will be considered for publication in the IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science (EES).


2. Submission Categories

ICFAEMH Oral Presentation

  • Postgraduate Students

Accepted full papers will be presented orally during parallel sessions.

This category is intended for regular conference participants and is eligible for publication consideration in the conference proceedings.

ISRF Oral Presentation Competition

  • Undergraduate Students Only
  • Competitive Presentation Format
  • Best Paper Award
  • Best Presenter Award

Oral presentations under the International Student Research Forum (ISRF 2026) provide undergraduate students with an opportunity to present their research in a competitive academic environment.

Selected participants will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee for the Best Paper and Best Presenter Awards.

ISRF Poster Presentation Competition

  • Undergraduate Students Only
  • Competitive Presentation Format
  • Best Poster Award

Poster presentations are organized under the International Student Research Forum (ISRF 2026) and allow undergraduate students to showcase their research through visual communication and discussion sessions.

Outstanding posters will be recognized through the Best Poster Award.

Note: ISRF 2026 is a special forum under ICFAEMH 2026 dedicated exclusively to undergraduate students. Participants may choose either the Oral Presentation Competition or the Poster Presentation Competition according to their preference.

3. Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

Template

All papers must be prepared using the official IOP Conference Series Microsoft Word Template.

Paper Requirements

  • Language: English
  • Original and unpublished work
  • Follow the official IOP template
  • Figures and tables must be clear and properly cited
  • References should follow IOP formatting style
  • Authors are responsible for grammar and language quality

4. Paper Structure

The manuscript should contain:

  1. Title
  2. Author(s) and Affiliation(s)
  3. Abstract
  4. Keywords
  5. Introduction
  6. Materials and Methods
  7. Results and Discussion
  8. Conclusions
  9. Acknowledgements (optional)
  10. References

5. Oral Presentation Guidelines

Presentation Duration

  • Presentation: 12 minutes
  • Question & Answer Session: 3 minutes
  • Total Duration: 15 minutes

Presentation Format

  • Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt/.pptx) or PDF
  • Use clear and readable fonts
  • Recommended font size ≥ 20 pt
  • Include title, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions
  • All presenters must register before the conference

6. Poster Presentation Guidelines (ISRF 2026)

Poster Size

  • Digital Poster: 1080 × 1350 pixels
  • Printable Version: A3 Size (297 × 420 mm)
  • Portrait Orientation
  • High Resolution (minimum 300 dpi recommended)

Poster Content

  • Title
  • Author(s) and Affiliation(s)
  • Introduction
  • Objectives
  • Methodology
  • Results
  • Conclusions
  • References (if applicable)

Poster Presentation Duration

  • Presentation: 3 minutes
  • Question & Answer Session: 2 minutes
  • Total Duration: 5 minutes

Poster Design Recommendations

  • Use concise text and strong visual elements
  • Use charts, diagrams, and images where appropriate
  • Ensure readability from a distance
  • Avoid excessive text

7. Awards (ISRF 2026)

Outstanding undergraduate student participants will be eligible for:

  • Best Paper Award
  • Best Presenter Award
  • Best Poster Award

Awards will be determined by the Scientific Committee based on scientific quality, originality, presentation performance, and overall impact.


8. Review Process

  • All submissions will undergo peer review.
  • Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts.
  • The Scientific Committee's decision is final.
  • Acceptance for presentation does not automatically guarantee publication.


9. Important Notes

  • At least one author must register and present the paper.
  • Failure to present may result in removal from the proceedings.
  • Authors are responsible for obtaining permissions for copyrighted materials.
  • The conference reserves the right to reject papers that do not comply with formatting or ethical standards.
